The East Valley plays host to a variety of events each year. High jinks meets history as one of the nation's largest and most picturesque Renaissance Festival takes place below the foothills of the Superstition Mountains each spring.

When you're in downtown Mesa, check out Sculptures In The Streets. This annual exhibit is on display from Thanksgiving through March. Downtown Mesa is also the place to see a fabulous holiday light display every December as decorations and lights can be seen on Main Street and at the Arizona Temple. The temple is also the setting for the very popular annual Easter Pageant.
